Here we present a rare version of the Eterna-Matic "Golfer", in sterling silver.

The Eterna-Matic made automatic movement history with its oscillating weight mounted on ball bearings to reduce friction and attenuate the effects of shocks, jolts and blows on the watch's speed. Exclusive to Eterna, this system remains a world reference, while the five spheres have become the Eterna logo.

-

The "Golfer" was a pocket watch designed primarily for golfers, but also for all sportsmen and women who wanted to avoid excessive shock damage to their wristwatches.

-

The aim was also to practice his sport with the class of a businessman, as demonstrated by the absolute elegance of this sterling silver model. Sterling silver is a silver alloy containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. It has a minimum fineness of 925 thousandths silver.

This watch is in rare condition, entirely original, right down to the chain and fastener used to attach it to the belt of one's pants.

The bezel is beautifully engine-turned and features a duck-shaped silver hallmark and the inscriptions 0.925 on the edge.

This is a version with date at 6 o'clock, enhanced by its original glass with integrated magnifying glass. The watch is equipped with the brand's superb Eterna-Matic movement, visible through its "skeleton" caseback. A superb collector's item.
