UNIQUE ILLUMINATED SIGN UNIVERSAL GENÈVE CIRCA 1960

Unique on the market, very rare luminous advertising sign which certainly decorated the window of a watchmaker or retailer of the famous brand Universal Genève.

Its structure and the lettering on the front are metallic with a polished brass effect. The diffuser seems to be made of plastic and is opaline in color. At the back are two channels that would allow to hang and expose it on a vertical plane.

The unit is in working order and has a rotary switch to switch from 22O to 115 volts. It is difficult to tell if the plug and power cord are original.

The set is "in its juice" with a nice patina, showing some oxidation marks but no major structural defects. It is a real piece of history and a rarity for all collectors of the brand.
